1. First semester: all students are exempted from tuition, fees and accommodation costs, and are also granted 300 RMB per month for living expenses.

2. Starting from the second semester, scholarships will be awarded according to the following conditions.
① Students who pass all courses (including examinations) are exempted from tuition and accommodation fees; those who fail must pay tuition and accommodation fees for the next semester or be withdrawn from the university.
② Students whose grades are ranked in the top 10% (inclusive) of all international students will be granted 500 RMB per month (for 10 months) for living expenses during their stay in China.
③ Students whose grades are ranked in the top 10% to 40% (inclusive) of all international students will be granted 400 RMB per month (for 10 months) for living expenses during their stay in China.
④ Students whose grades are ranked above 40% (inclusive) among all international students will be granted 300 RMB per month (for 10 months) for living expenses during their stay in China.
The scholarship will be replenished to RMB 800, 600 and 400 at the end of each academic year according to the students' performance.
` Note: Scholarship applicants must not violate Chinese laws and school regulations.

Eligibility

All applicants should at the age of 18-28 and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Documents You Need to Provide (Application Documents Sample)

1. Application form for the scholarship.

2. Photocopy of valid passport.
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included.

3. Passport photo.
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant.

4. Highest education transcript.
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

5. Graduation certificate.
Diploma in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

6. Foreigner Physical Examination Record and Blood Examination Report.

7. Non-criminal record provided by local police

8. A reference letter

9. A photocopy of the applicant’s emergence contact (can be a passport, license, or other official ID)

10. A photocopy of HSK 4 certificate (for programs in Chinese), a test report photocopy of IELTS 5 (or above) or TOEFL 70 (or above) (for programs in English and non-English speakers).

11. Bank statement.

Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: Yes, please refer to our "Terms & Conditions".

Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and aroud May to June for Autumn Intake.

Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.

Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
