Eligibility

Entry requirements for our courses vary depending on your school qualifications, which determine your entry into either the preliminary year (year one) or qualifying year (year two).

*English language requirements:
Minimum requirements for our preliminary year entry:
IELTS 5.5 with the writing band no less than 5.0
PTE Academic 65 (minimum 59)
TOEFL iBT 79 (minimum 17 in writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in speaking)
Minimum requirements for our qualifying year entry:
IELTS 6.5 with the writing band no less than 6.0
PTE Academic 71 (minimum 65)
TOEFL iBT 87 (minimum 20 in Speaking and 19 in all other elements)

*Minimum age requirements: An applicant should be at least 18 years of age before the first day of September in the relevant academic year.

Documents You Need to Provide (Application Documents Sample)

1. One recommendation letter on headed paper, signed and/or stamped
2. Transcript of school exam results (completed or results so far)
3. High School Certificate
4. English language test score report if already received (e.g. IELTS or PTE)
5. Personal Statement
6. One photocopy of the main pages from your passport
7. One 2*2 inch color bareheaded photo with white background (Note: the head occupies two thirds of the size of the photo; no less than 320 × 240 pixels, the aspect ratio is 4: 3; the size is 100-500kb; jpg format

Faqs

Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: No, because the application process for this scholarship is complicated and hard to deal with. We need a very long time to help you apply it. As a result, it is not refundable.


Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and aroud May to June for Autumn Intake.


Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.


Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
